OTAGO-SOUTHLAND MATCHES It was decided at a meeting of the Management Committee of the Southland Cricket Association on Tuesday night that senior and junior matches between teams representing Southland,and Otago be played
at Invercargill on November 23 and 25. A! letter was received from the Otago Asset, ciation stating that these dates were suitable. It was also decided that the junior team be confined to players under t. 9 years of age on the date of the match. It was agreed to write to the Otago. Association suggesting that the matches begin at 2.30 on Saturday, November 23, and at 11 on the Monday. It was pointed out that the late start on the first day would enable the Otago teams to arrive at Invercargill on Saturday instead of Friday, night, thus saving expenses,,
