FIVE MEN KILLED
EXPLOSION IN COAL MINE CHE BODY RECOVERED fJ?EK United Press Association.] GREYMOUTH, November 6. An explosion occurred at Kayo and Party’s co-operative coal mine at Ten Mile Creek at 9.30 this morning. The killed are; John Kaye, sen., married. John Kaye, jun., single. Lino Colpo, married. Frederick Williams, married. Alec M'lntosh, mine manager, married. The injured are: William Burnett, married. Adam Boote, jun., married. The body of Kaye, jun., has been recovered, but the other four bodies are still in the mine. The condition of the injured is not serious. They are suffering from shock and burns.
