Daily Intercession
Serve Him with a perfect heart and with a tvilling mind; for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandelh all the imaginations of the thoughts; if thou seek Him, He will be found of thee. — (l. Chronicles xxxviii.: 9.) Eternal God, deliver us tve beseech Thee from the sins of merely wishful thinking and of idle praying. Give us grace that we may sincerely strive to attain the good that we desire, dedicating heart and mind and soul and strength to Thine obedience. Use us, good’*Lord, in the fulfilment of Thy purposes, that through prayer and service the power of evil may be overthrown.
