SOCIAL CREDIT MOVEMENT
The Dunedin branch of the Social Credit Movement of New Zealand held its ninth annual reunion on Saturday. Mrs M‘Lean (president ot the women’s, branch) welcomed a goodly gathering of members and friends from Dunedin and district. The president of the central branch (Mr 11.
Chiles) endorsed Mrs M'Lean’s words of welcome, and appealed for support for the forthcoming New Zealand tour of the young orator, John Hogan, of Australia. After an enjoyable programme of musical and other items, Miss M. H. gave a short talk. Despite its many vicissitudes and disappointments, the attendance at this reunion testified, Miss King said, to the living strength of the Social Credit Movement .in Dunedin.
