Craddock) was not prepared to make his final decision at the completion of screening. The quality of the films shown was generally high, both from an entertainment standard and in point of technical excellence. A wide variety of subjects was covered, several being in colour, and in this connection the improved quality of modern coloyr film suitable for amateur use was effectively demonstrated.
Several films stood out from the rest in their appeal to the dayman, and among these was one entitled ’ The Land of the Almighty Dollar ' —a tour of America taken entirely in colour. Another striking entry was one dealing with St. Clair, which also included many well-made colour scenes. Seascapes were plentiful, and one entry showed the humorous aspect of the heavy snowfall experienced last year.
