SCHOOL RUGBY
KING'S SCATS ST. KEVIN’S The King’s High School first fifteen defeated St. Kevin’s College at Oamaru on Wednesday bv 3 points to 0. The home forwards, heavier than those of King’s, made the most of their advantage in weight, but the King’s backs were superior both in attack and defence. The outstanding player of the game was D. H. Murdoch, the King’s first five-eighth, who made a great break through before sending Rennie over for the winning try. Tho home forwards secured by far the largest share of the ball, but sound defence by King’s prevented their line from being crossed. The King's High School team, which has so far been unbeaten this season, will meet Southland High School at Invercargill later in the season.
