WEDDINGS

On Saturday afternoon at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, the wedding was solemnised between David, sixth son of Mrs E. Love and the late Mr W. Love, sen.. Port Chalmers, and Isabel Hope, only daughter of the late Mr and Mrs J. Blair, of Dunedin. Tho ceremony was performed by the Rev. H. J. Ryburn, and Mr C. Oliver presided at the organ. The bride, who entered the church escorted by her brother, Mr R. 15. Blair, wore a lovely gown of magnolia satin cut on formal lines, featuring a hustle back and train. Her beautiful embroidered veil was held in place by a coronet of silver leaves, and she carried a shower bouquet of roses and freesias. Her only attendant was Miss Catherine Lochead, who wore a simple gown of blue georgette over taffeta, with a niched bodice and sleeves. The headdress was composed of pink carnations and tulle, with a matching shower bouquet. Tho bride-

groom was attended by his nephew, Mr David Love, the ushers being Messrs J. Love and Thomson. During the signing of the register, Miss Esma Wilson rendered a solo. A reception was later held at the Crawford Lounge, where the guests were received by Mrs R. B. Blair, who wore a blue lace gown with fur cape, and carried a bouquet of red roses. Assisting her was the bridegroom's sister, Mrs Scott, who wore a wine ensemble and carried a bouquet in autumn tints. For travelling, the bride wore a blue ensemble. M'MORRAN—M'KAY. A very pretty wedding was solemnised on April 24, at St. Andrew Street Church of Christ, when Barbara Hart, only daughttr of Mr and Mrs A. M'Morran, of Roslyn, was married to Mr Stanley R. M'Kay, of Mataura, youngest son of Mr Thomas M'Kay and the late Mrs M'Kay, of Mataura. The future home of Mr and Mrs S. M'Kay will be at Mataura.
