There was a good at the meeting of the Rescue Lodge, No. 105, last evening in the Oddfellows’ Hall, King Edward street, when Bro. W. G lies, chief templar, presided. Reports on the work of the Juvenile Temple and the social held the previous week •were received,

A vote of sympathy was passed with the relatives of the late Bro. W. G. Andrews, past grand chief templar. An interesting account of his recent visit to the North Island, whore he was accompanied hy Bro. W. I). Campbell. ■ grand counsellor. Sister Mrs lies, grand vice-templar, and Sister Mrs Campbell. grand deputv-marshal. was given bv the grand chief templar, Bro. IV. A. lies, special reference being made to

the splendid work being accomplishd in the juvenile department. Greetings were received from Endeavour, Enterprise, and district lodges Young Endeavour, and Youthful Enterprise Juvenile Temples (Auckland). Centenary Lodge (Petono), Pride of Haughton Valley, and Pioneer Lodges, Golden Star, Rock of Safety, and Ocean View Juvenile Temples (Wellington), and from Bro. Trevithick, G. Sec. Bro.
