EXPULSION OF MR LEE
OTAGO LABOUR COMMITTEE'S APPROVAL
The report the two delegates to the annual conference of the Labour Party (Miss M. A. Egan and Hon. M. Connolly, M.L.0.) was discussed by a record number of delegates attending a meeting on Wednesday night of the Otago Labour Representation Committee. The report was received after a discussion lasting over two hours, and the following resolution was carried by an overwhelming majority:—“ That the delegates be congratulated on their report, and that their action in voting for the expulsion of Mr Lee be endorsed.”
