MAGISTRATE’S COURT
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 27. (Before Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M.) DEFAULT CASES. Judgment for the plaintiffs, with costs, was given in the following cases: —M'Pheison, Kemp, and Co. Ltd. v. Blacklaw Bros. (Oainarn). £6 10s 9d. goods supplied; T. W. Dobbie v. J. E. Weavers, £4 12s, money paid; Crust and Crust v. J. Ballin, £lO 3s (id, work done; Mackintosh Caley Phccnix v. A, M. Willis (Geraldine), £25 8s Id, good# supplied; Commissioner of Taxes v. William Grlgg, £3 13s Id. arrears of taxes; same v. Daniel Andrew, £4 Ss 6d. arrears of taxes; same v. Henn Irons Barnett, £5 9s lid, arrears of taxes. JUDGMENT SUMMONSES. T. E. M'lnnes proceeded against John Simpson on a judgment summons, claiming the sum of £5 2s. Judgment was given for the full amount, with costs (13s), in default six days’ imprisonment. Florence Alice Smith claimed £4 6s 6d from Stanley H. Anderson on a judgment summons. Judgment was given for the amount to be paid forthwith, with costs (6s), in default five days’ imprisonment.
