MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS A meeting of the Management Committee of the Otago Rugby Football Union was held last night, the president (Mr D. C. Jolly) being in tho chair. The Secretary presented a draft of the 58th annual report of the union, and it was referred to a sub-committee consisting of Messrs D. C. Jolly, D. M. Spedding, H. Harris, and C. G. Gibbons for its final approval. It was decided to hold the annual meeting of the union on Wednesday, March 20, the conference of country delegates to be hem on the morning of the same date. It was also decided that the conference between the country delegates and the union representatives be held in the afternoon. The Chairman reported that although an attempt had been made to arrange for a deputation to wait on Cr Munro, chairman of the_ Reserves Committee of the City Council, to discuss the question of the condition of the Opoho Ground, two letters having been written, no reply hrjd been received. The secretary had also written to the town clerk, and hero again no reply had been received. It was decided that the secretary should endeavour to get into touch with the town clerk and arrange for the deputation from tho union to wait on the Reserves Committee.
