STRAND
' Git Along, Little Dogies,’ which is now at the Strand, is at once delightfully romantic and tremendously exciting. Full of thrills from beginning to end, abounding with excellent song “ hits,” the production succeeds a number of highly successful Gene Autry features constructed on the same pattern as in the past. Autry’s pleasant voice is not the only vocal attraction cf ‘ Git Along, Little Dogies,’ however, for there is the rotund, bass-voiced character comedian, “ Smiley ” Burnette, to add his mite to the entertainment. More than that, there is the “ Maple City Four,” a highly-paid American radio and screen combination. On the same bill is ‘ Sleeping Toes.’ starring Hazel Ascot, a youthful danecr.
