It is officially reported that tte Go-vernor-General (Lord Tweedsmuir) is slightly improved j but he is still in a critical condition after a second operation. Lord Tweedsmuir earlier arrived hero by special train, accompanied by his wife, son, and five doctors, and was admitted to the Royal Victoria Hospital for a second emergency operation. (Received February 12, at 11 a.m.) According to an Ottawa message this morning’s bulletin from the Montreal Neurological Institute states that Lord Tweedsmuir suffered a relapse The statement caused grave anxiety throughout Canada, and prayers for His Excellency’s recovery are being said in the churches of all denominations throughout the dominion. THIRD OPERATION DECIDED ON MONTREAL, February 11. (Received February 12, at 12.5 p.m.)' A conference of five specialists decided on an immediate blood transfusion and a third operation.
