OBSTRUCTION OF POLICE SEQUEL TO PACIFIST MEETING (Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, February. 12. Ormond Edward Button, a minister of religion, and William Daniel O’Reilly, a labourer, were charged in the Magistrate’s Court to-day with obstructing the police in the execution of their duty, and each was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment, with hard labour. The magistrate (Mr J. L. Stout) said it was quite evident from what was happening in other centres that if these meetings were allowed to continue there would most likely be disorder and possibly bloodshed.
