MAGNA CARTA
All of us will be well content that Magna Carta shall rest for the present in the Congress Library at Washington, alongside the Declaration of Independence and the American Constitution of 1797. It is a symbol of the common liberty of the two nations, and may yot become again the envy of happier lands (the Shakespearean emphasis is permissible) who have now no liberties.— ' Observer.'
