LEADING APPRENTICE SUSPENDED
[Per United Press Association.] NEW PLYMOUTH, February 9. For interference by Gold Dale with Amigo and Footloose in the Flying Handicap at the Egmont races, a leading apprentice, V. Dye, rider of Gold Dale, has been suspended for one month. Dye sprang into prominence at the Taranaki holiday meetings with eight winning mounts and many placings in four days.
