At its conclusion the host said 1 : “ Well, Sandy, what could a Scotsman desire better than that? Singing, band music,, a talk on politics, opera, news, and a quiz—all for nothing.” _ “Aye,” said MacTavish, “ but we didn’t have any acrobats.”
