This effort of the 600 or 700 willing collectors must be regarded as an excellent response to a worthy cause, and the Dunedin Returned Soldiers’ Association is to be congratulated on the organisation that was responsible for the smooth collection of donations. Various stalls around); the city were operated by many well-known bodies in tho city, such as the Salvation Army, Imperial Ex-servicemen’s Association. League of Mothers, 1.0.0.
