DUNEDIN CENTENNIAL WEEK
Celebrations in connection with the Centennial of New Zealand are to take place throughout the city during the week_ after next, February 17 to 24. A full list of the main attractions in Dunedin Centennial Week appears in this issue. The highlight of the local celebrations is “ Schools Day,” when the 10,000 school children of the city and surrounding districts will spend a never-to-be-forgotten day at Wingatui. A request has been issued by the mayor (Mr A. H. Allen) that “ Schools Day,” February 20, should be observed by all as a whole holiday.
