OTAGO V. SOUTHLAND The sole selector (Mr S, Samson) has chosen the following to represent Otago in the women’s representative match against Southland at Invercargill next week:—H. Hodges (captain), M. Freeman (deputy-captain), J. Little, V. Garland, M. Strathdee, I. Stevenson, B. Campbell, P. Hanigan, A. Fache, M. Bishop, A. Gaffaney, O. Phelan (reserve). Mrs Samson will be chaperon and Miss Plocton manageress. The team leaves on Thursday next.
