BISHOP’S DEGREE FOR WELLINGTON DIOCESE t ANGLICAN CHURCH HUT FOR TRENTHAM [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, February 5. In a pastoral letter Bishop St. Barbe Holland announced the postponement of Centenary Thanksgiving Day in Wellington diocese on February 11, and the substitution of a day of intercession on that date for help in time of war. The Bishop said that half of the men in the New Zealand Forces belonged to the Anglican Church, and the Wellington diocese had begun the erection of a church hut at Trentham costing over £2,000, half of which was already available.
