ANDERSON. —On January 22, 1940, at Christchurch, Janet, loved wife of the late William Anderson, Rangiora, and sister of Mrs A. M‘Kay and Miss F. Stark (Dunedin), and Mr J. Stark (Timaru). —Private interment from 45 Clyde street, Dunedin, cm Wednesday, 24th inst., at 10 a.m. HANLON.—On January 23, IS4O, at Dunedin, Mary Ann, beloved wife of Alfred Charles Hanlon, 16 Pitt street. Private interment. —Hope and Kinaston, funeral directors. WARD.—On January 21, 1940, at his residence, Karitane, William Frederick Arthur, beloved husband of Jane M'Gregor Ward, late of Oamaru; aged 65 years. Interred this day at Karitane. —Hugh Qourley Ltd., funeral directors. ZAFFEE.—On January 22, 1940, at Dunedin, Janet Zaffer, of 10 Eden street; aged 72 years. “At rest.” —The Funeral will leave the United Congregational Church, Castle street, on Wednesday, the 24th inst., at 2 p.m. (service at 1.45 p.ra.), for the Northern Cemetery.—Hope and Kinaston, fqneral directors.
