GESTURE BY RETURNED SOLDIERS Members of the First Echelon of th* New Zealand Special Force will be returning from final leave about December 28, and the Dunedin Returned Soldier’s Association has arranged to.giv* a farewell afternoon tea on Wednesday next, December 20, at 3:15. A cordial invitation is extended to all ranks on leave to be present, and the secretary of the association makes an appeal ti the general public to let tjhe members ol the Special Force know of this invitai tion. The old soldiers are taking i keen interest in the 2nd N.Z.E.F., an« they are desirous of extending to then the hand of friendship and comradeshij so well known amongst ex-soldiefs.
