HIGH COST OF LISTENING
LICENSE FEES £658,736 In the year ended June 30 Jast, the 'Australian Broadcasting Commission received wireless license fees totalling £658,736 in aggregate revenue of £720,133 The report states that £107,375 had been added to the reserve fund, bringing it to £249,700. The reserve fund will be invested in Commonwealth securities. There ia no likelihood of a reduction in listening fees.
