NAVAL RECRUITS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Every evening when I pick up| my paper, I read of new enlistments in the Army. What about the Navy? Wa have a Royal Naval Volunteer Reserva in this city, and I believe 50 of tha ratings are on active service, quite at few of these away overseas. Why ara these lads -not recognised through tha papers too? Are they not wofthy? Op perhaps the powers that be are to» dense to submit their names to- tha Press. As a parent, Ido feel that thesa lads should receive the -Same recognition as the Army. The Silent Navy ia all right—but just carried to a point.—* I am, etc., _ . Honour Where Due. December 15.
