JONES.—On December 7, 1939, at his residence, 2 Lambert street, North-east Valley, -Fred Jones, late of Nevis and Bannockburn, and-Ic-ved friend of Mr and Mrs B. Osten; aged 64 years. “At rest.”—The Funeral will-leave the residence on Saturday, the 9th inst., at 2 p.m., for the Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.—Hope and Kinaston, funeral directors.
MARTIN.—On December 7, 1939, at Dunedin, Marion Robbie, relict Of James Martin, of 12 Scotland street; aged 62 years. Private interment. —Hugh Gourley Ltd., funeral directors.
SMITH.—On December 7, 1939, at 16 Rugby street, Invercargill, A. Y. Smith, beloved husband of Ellendland Smith; in his ninety-second year. .
