UNSETTLED POSITION PRIME MINISTER TO MEET UNIONS Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright CANBERRA, November 10. The Prime Minister (Mr R. G. Menses) wll meet representatives of the combined mining unions on Tuesday at Canberra to discuss the unsettled position which has arisen in the coal industry. -The mining unions are pressing lor speedier treatment of their claims than the Arbitration Court’s legal machinery provides. The chief proposal before the conference will he the creation of special tribunals to hear their disputes during the, currency of the war. DARWIN STRIKE ENDED SYDNEY, November 10. The Darwin railway strike ended today. ■
