GREECE.—The famous Evzos Grenadiers, that picturesque unit which retains the traditional costume of many petticoats, is a very dandified body of men. Preparation for a parade takes some time. This is a typical barrack-yard scene.
BERLIN, like London and Paris, has prepared sandbag protections for her principal buildings and art treasures. Boys of the Hitler Youth organisation, clad only in shorts, work very industriously covering the frescoes in the Pergamon Museum.
