TOWN HALL DANCE

Last Saturday night over 1,100 dancers and 500 spectators attended the Town Hall dance. To-night tae first heat of the 1939 Otago junior championship will be held, and the entries are: Miss I. Anderson and Mr J. Galland, Miss V. Mont and Mr R. Shrhbsole, Miss N. Grant and Mr J. M‘Anally, Miss P. Hackett and Mr A. Hooper, Miss N. de Beer and Mr A. M'Cracken, Miss F. M‘Curdy and Mr A. Mercer, Miss V. Crerar and Mr W. Dodd, Miss J. Lawrence and Mr P. M'Namara, Miss I. Webster and Mr N. Bresanello. Miss L. M'Donald ani Mr J. Bain, Miss K. Gibb and Mr G. Gibb, Miss E. Freeman and Mr Ray Meinung, Miss M. Gunning and Mr A. Duff, Miss S. Gardiner and Mr A. Ritchie, Miss B. Watson and Mr C. Howard, Miss B. Finch and Mr R. M'Dowell. Miss D. Moylan and Mr F. Burgess, Miss P. White and Mr D. Hewitt, Miss N. Donlan and Mr Stan. Osborne. The final will be held, on Saturday, December 2. The spectacular decorations arranged by Peter of <<ZB and used 1 on Wednesday at the 4ZB anniversary dance, will be used again at the Town Hall dance to-night.
