“BLANKETS FOR CHINA”
■ Further donations towards the “ Blankets for China ” Relief Fund bring the total to over £IOO, in addition to numerous gifts of blankets and warm clothing. The funds available have been forwarded to the Central Committee at Christchurch, where an order has been placed with a local woollen mill for the manufacture of the necessary blankets to be sent to the Relief Committee in China. Dunedin has the distinction of having contributed the largest sum in cash of any New Zealand city towards this appeal. The fund is being kept open for a short time longer, and further donations will still be gratefully received. Following are the additional donations ;
