CURIOSITY of passers-by has been aroused by the working of this crane at the'mouth of the disused Caversham 'tunnel; The common conjecture that it is being prepared as an air-raid .shelter is far from the truth.; It is being used to carry part of the storm-water drain which, was recently laid along Macandrew road and across to Caversham.
