TOWN HALL DANCE
Patrons of the Town Hall dance should have a good night’s dancing on Saturday, when four vocalists will be featured—Miss Irene Brookes, James M'Farlane, Los. Wilson, and Mr W. Waller—-all of whom will sing with Mr Didk Colvin’s baud. The only break in the dance programme will be for a special item by Master Jack Richardson, described as Dunedin’s George Formby. There will be 200 athletes in attendance, representing the various harrier clubs of Dunedin. Patrons are reminded of the birthday dance on Saturday, September 2. when the management is arranging a special night. Balloons, novelties, paper hats, streamers, and masks of all descriptions will bo distributed, and a special slipper, including fruit “dad and trifles. will be arm need. Spectators will be admitted to the circle for a small charge.
