Six were killed and 12 injured when a shed in a park at Ilford was struck by lightning during an exceptionally severe thunderstorm oyer London suburbs. SEVEN PEOPLE KILLED LONDON, August 21. (Received August 22, at 1.5 p.m.) Seven persons were killed and 18 injured by the lightning at Ilford. A boy investigating screams from the shed found 30 people heaped on the floor unconscious. One woman was clasping two children. Floods and power failures have delayed the rail and trolly bus services.
