TAXING PROPOSALS
NATIONALISTS TO ATTACK FINANCE BILL SERIES OF AMENDMENTS LIKELY [From Our Parliamentary Reporter.] WELLINGTON, August 22. When the Finance Bill is debated in the House of (Representatives this week the Government’s borrowing and taxing proposals are likely to be attacked by the Opposition, and it is probable that a number of anleudments will bo moved as the debate progresses. The members of the Opposition will meet in caucus to-morrow to consider the measure and to discuss the line of action to be taken in the House.
