TOWN HALL DANCE

LES WILSON TO SING Les Wilson, the 14-year-old “ yodel* ling cowboy,” will be featured on the programme to be presented at the dance in the Main Town Hall on Saturday night, and among the numbers he ■will sing will be ‘ There’s a Bridle Hanging on the Wall,’ ‘Sleep in Your Barn To-night, Mister ’ * Rooking Along in an Old Booking Chair,’ * Little Old Shack,’ and ‘ Prairie Blues.’ Dick Colvin’s Radio Band, assisted by the vocalists James MacFarlane and Miss Irene (Brooks, will play music for dancing in modern and old-time tempos. ,A further heat in the men’s vocalist contest will be held, the competitors being Mr Douglas Smith and Mr Doherty. The doors will be opened at 7 o’clock to give those who wish the opportunity to dance until 8. Further particulars are advertised.
