SOUTHLAND BOYS' HIGH BEAT KING'S HIGH

At Invercargill yesterday Southland Boys’ High School defeated King’s High School (Dunedin), by 9 points (two tries and a penalty goal) to 0. all the points being scored in the second half. The Southland team were slightly superior all round, but their backs rarely broke through the solid tackling of the King’s five-eighths. The homo team forwards played doggedly and their loose rushes were hard to stop. King’s packed a good scrum, while heeling was a feature of their scrum work.
