TAIERI LADIES' BOWLING CLUB
The first annual meeting of the Taieri Ladies’ Bowling Club was held in the pavilion on Saturday last. The election of officers resulted; —President, Mrs Patterson; vice-president, Mrs Roberts; secretary and treasurer, Mrs Stratton; selector, Mrs Woodward; auditor, Mr Cate: General Committee—Mesdames Turnbull, Kirkland, Scott, Roberts, and! Woodward. Mrs Patterson (president) presented a cup to the club, to be played for annually. This was much appreciated by members, and was won for the first time by Mrs Gibson, tbo runner-up being Mrs Kirkland.
