PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Dunedin City Council proposes at a Meeting to he held on Wednesday, the 23rd day of August, 1939, at 4.30 o’clock p.m., at the Town Hall, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans. Board for sanction to the borrowing of a eum of £6,500 for the purpose of purchasing motor omnibuses. The said sum of £6,500 comprises the balance of a loan of £IOO,OOO authorised in 1924, and is the final portion of a moiety of £17,000 of the said loan of £IOO,OOO referred to in Section 13 of “ The Local Legislation Act, 1938 " The security for the whole loan of £IOO,OOO is a Special Rate of Twopence (2d) in the “ f! ” on the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Dunedin City Council not later than the day'preceding the said Meeting. R. A.
