(Received August 3, at 1145 a.m.) Nearly 50 entries, including that of Miss Babe Didrikson, have been rejected for the Australian open golf championship to be played on the (Royal Melbourne course on August 24, 25. and 26. The Match Committee in a statement said, “ Because of the large number ot entries received (183) it was decided to reject all entrants with handicaps of more than 2 from standard scratch, or 5 from par. The entries accepted total 135.”
