(Received July 21, at 8 a.m.) Five Arabs were killed and eight injured during eight shootings in the neighbourhood of Tel Aviv and Rohoheth. The curfew was applied, and warnings were issued to Arabs to avoid Jewish areas. AMERICAN MISSIONARY KIDNAPPED HELD TO RANSOM BY ARABS JERUSALEM, July 20. (Received July 21, at 11.5 a.m.) Eleven armed Arabs kidnapped an American missionary named Gerald Gobbler in the hills between Bethlehem and the Dead Sea, and are demanding £I,OOO ransom.
