ROYAL INTEREST IN NATIONAL SERVICE. —Twenty thousand men and women—representatives of every branch of National Service—inarched past the King, Queen, and Queen Mary in Hyde Park earlier this month. They made a sparkling display in their many different uniforms and their Majesties must have been proud to see such enthusiasm shown by these volunteers who are preparing to serve their country in the event of a National Emergency.
