FORBURY PARK CLUB The monthly meeting of the executive of the Forbury Park Trotting Club was held last night. The president (Mr B. S. Irwin) occupied the chair. Advice was received that wooden buildings on racecourses as from the year ended March 31, 1940, would be allowed depreciation of 5 per cent, for social security tax purposes. Permission was granted the Dunedin Orphans’ Club to use Forbury Park on the afternoon of September 20 for its annual orphanage outing.
Accounts totalling £241 5s were passed for payment. It was decided that the annual meeting he held on August 21.
