WARRANT FOR ARREST OF SULLIVAN. Warrants have been issued for the arrest of J. L. Sullivan and J. Kilrain for taking part in a prize fight in the United States. All efforts to discover them have been futile, and it is believed' that their friends arc keeping them in hiding. NOMINATED IMMIGRATION. The immigration returns for the year show that,-255 persons landed in New Zealand under the nominated system. From the time of the commencement of this scheme, 74,055 persons have been nominated, and 31,373 have arrived in the colony. Of these Otago has absorbed 8,980, Canterbury 8,549, Auckland 5,507.
