FORESTERS
The fortnightly meeting of Court Enterprise was held! in the court room, C.R. Bro. D. Mercer presiding, with alt officers in attendance. The court was in mourning for an old member, Bro,: A. Marshall. An invitation was received from Court St. Andrew for tha 500 tournament on Monday, and tha following brethren were selected to represent the court: —J. Day, J. Benfell, S Patterson, and S. Brettell. An invitation from Court Marion, Mosgiel, for Tuesday was accepted. An invitation was also received from Court Prida of Dunedin for Monday, July 31, it* seventy-sixth anniversary. Court Prida of Alexandra wrote that both tha courts at Alexandra turned out in larga numbers for the funeral of Bro. Marshall. It was decided to write and thank the courts for their kindness. One candidate was initiated into tha court by the C.R., P.C.R. Bro. Benfell taking the second part and the S.C.R. (Bro. Watson) welcoming the new brother with the Foresters’ Toasts The Minute Secretary stated that nexti court night was Bro. Mercer’s evening. After the close of the meeting _ tha members proceeded to Court Little John, Roslyn, where a dance was held*
