LEVER V. KIRGHMEYER ' Dick Lever and Rollend Kirchmeyer, who meet on Monday night, are particularly good wrestlers. Lever, who is making his first New Zcu.auu u ance, is very rugged and a headlock expert. He has just completed a tour of Australia, where he defeated Moen, Hansen, and other wrestlers well known in Dunedin. Kirchmeyer is the possessor of a hold, the python clutch, said to be more dangerous than Blomfield’s clamp Kirchmeyer, who is 6ft 7}in. is an adept at leg wrestling, and ,as an amateur wrestled at the same university as M'Cready. where he was very highly rated. Lever,, weighing 17st, is shorter than Kirchmeyer, who is the tallest wrestler in the game, but is very solidly built and has been rated, above Fraley, Spellman, and Dr • Fred Meyer, As this is Lever’s first appearance ■ ho will have to make his New Zealand reputation, in this contest, and will be hard put to it to take the honours from Kirchmeyer, who has proved himself a particularly dangerous opponent.
