PRICE INVESTIGATION TRIBUNAL. . The Hon. D. G. Sullivan announced to-day that the Price Investigation Tribunal was making arrangements to hold judicial inquiries at an early date into the price of sugar, oatmeal, and Australian brail and pollard, and also into the Auckland laundry prices. The Minister said there had been a considerable amount of organising work incidental to the setting-up and establishment of the tribunal. Effective operation of the Tribunal had to be worked out. This preliminary work had now been completed,. and the public could he assured that every effort would he made to keep an effective check on nmvarnjcited price rises.—Wellington Press ‘Association.

THE FORTY-HOUR WEEK
