GOLDEN WEDDING
MR AND MRS J. H. HENDERSON CELEBRATE Some 60 relatives and friends wore present at an enjoyable evening, hold at the Stirling Social Hall recently to celebrate the golden wedding of Mr and .Mrs J. H. Henderson. The evening was spent in dancing, the music being capably supplied by Miss M. Bell and Mr H. Timm. Items were given by Mrs It G Henderson, the Misses A. Bel! and 11. Henderson, and Mr J. Bell, and a community sing was led by Mr N. Beil.
A feature at supper was the cake, which had been made by Mrs J. B. APKinlay. eldest daughter of Mr arid Airs Henderson, and decorated by Mrs W. Logie. The toast of the bride and bridegroom of 50 years ago was drunk with musical honours. Telegrams were received from all parts of Now Zealand, and amongst the many gifts was a chiming clock, presented by members of the family, who, with the exception of one son, were all present for the celebrations.
