Force recruiting still continues at the rate of over 1,000 every week No fewer- than 1,105 joined last week, compared with 326 daring the corresponding week of 1938, bringing the total entry of pilots,' observers, airmen, and boys since April 1 -to 9,643, compared with 3,444 during the corresponding period l of 1938.
