CASE AGAINST LAWLOR
LONDON SHOOTING INCIDENT ACCUSED PLEADS NOT GUILTY Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, June 13. When the case against Ledwedge Vincent Lawler was resumed, the prosecution said the accused was an Australian who arrived in Loudon on April 6. He had been working as a welder’s assistant at Waterloo Bridge. The accused was further charged with a similar offence when a window of the Earl of Harewood’s house was broken by a bullet. The prosecution stated that 21 rounds of ammunition that would) fit the gun produced and 10 airgun pellets were found in Lawler’s possession, while 1,000 more were discovered at his lodgings in Newington Causeway.
Lawlor pleaded not guilty, reserved his defence, and was committed 1 for trial.
