LORD MERRIVALE Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, May 22. The death has occurred of Lord Merrivalo, who was president of the Probate, Divorce, and Admiralty Division from 1919 to 1933. He tried over 11,000 divorce cases, and he awarded Lords Jellicoe and Beatty £22,685 as prize-money following the Battle of Jutland. MR TAITE TE TOKO fPER United Press Association.) WANGANUI, May 23. Mr Taite Te Tomo, former member of Parliament for the Western Maori electorate, died at Kakariki yesterday. The deceased was a farmer, and was organiser for the late Sir Maui Pomarc for many years. He was elected for the Maori electorate in 1930.
